In recent interviews, Moore, now 61, has candidly discussed her past struggles with fitness and the intense pressure she felt to conform to societal expectations surrounding weight and appearance. Reflecting on her experiences, she communicated that a significant part of her stress stemmed from postpartum weight loss efforts after giving birth to her second daughter, Scout. “I put so much pressure on myself,” she shared in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning. This relentless drive often led her to overexert herself while preparing for roles, even biking up to 60 miles a day during her postpartum recovery.
